Statement of Ministry Intention

The purpose of this agreement is to provide guidance in the use of the property and grounds of Avon United Church by church members and individuals and groups in the community.

Avon United Church aims to provide a safe, nurturing environment where we welcome all people into the total life and ministry of Avon United Church, including but not limited to: persons of any age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, intellectual and physical ability, family configuration, social or economic circumstance or mental health. All persons are invited to take part in every aspect of church life including membership, leadership, celebrating life passages and marriage.

As part of our commitment to working and living together toward justice for all of God’s people, we will not promote, advertise, or distribute any materials or event information for groups that are in conflict with the above statement.

• Mulhall Room (small downstairs meeting room)

• Large plasma TV
• Projector/screen
• PA system
• Portable microphones
• Other

Fee Schedule

Sanctuary, Church Hall, Mulhall Room (light kitchen use included):

• Hourly Rate (1hr) $25.00
• Half-Day Rate (4 hrs) $75.00
• Full Day Rate (8 hrs) $150.00

Major Event Rates (e.g funerals, celebrations of life, weddings, or other celebrations)

Rental fees may be adjusted for these events if catering is requested.

Catering available by donation (to be negotiated)

• Catering by Avon United Church $250-$500*
• Self-catering (use of kitchen, dishes, etc.) $100

*Dependent on numbers

Music Events/Concerts:

• Standard rates as above, or
• Agreed upon percentage of free will offering.
